Our most popular drink here so far has been the Mocha Latte !

We take Ghirardelli Chocolate syrup and mix it with espresso and sweet steamed milk for a truly decadent experience.

If you didn't know about it , now u do..u'll be carrying a cup out the Mojo fairly soon you'll see ;-)

This is what happens when you get a Breukelen Mojo Coffee Baby Addict ! He hasn't slept in weeks ! See the eyes ? lol

Kidding.. This is Aiden ! (I think that's it) He's a real cool Mojo baby! He took his mom out for a caramel frappe after being fussy and keeping her up most of the night (Aiden the Party Animal!)

He rocks because he said "OOOoooh!" to our caramel frappes , and speaks Spit Bubble Baby Russian!

Cell Phone Usage Rudage ?

So I have a super-friendly customer who has come in quite a few times and conducts business in our place. He sets up his laptop and cell phone and orders a small coffee.

Some of the people that have come in look at him in an awkward way as if he's being extremely rude.

I myself don't even realize it because Im just happy he feels comfortable enough here to consider this place an almost every day stop. He speaks at a pretty high volume but it just doesnt strike me as rude yet. Hey he's a pretty cool guy !

I wonder if when business takes off , and there's tons of customer in here reading , sipping , and/or conversing, will I consider it rude then? If so , how do I remedy this without losing a customer and offending someone?

Movie Nite Trial Run...

The place looked great, the popcorn smelled REAL good and it only took us an hour and a half to get the projection screen right !

We only had one family come in, but we were up against alot of excitement in our neighborhood and the ones around us. There were bigtime shows and concerts, Grand Opening of restaurants and it was a fair weather saturday night (with the exception of sporadic lightning).

But with one family coming in we still had a great time and we still considered it a success because they had a good time !

Their popcorn was free because they were the only ones who turned up but the rest of y'all hafta fork over a whopping 50 cents ! That's right I said it ! lol


One of our customer/neighbors gave us a great idea ... To post a movie schedule. (Thanks Obbi)

Keep on a lookout for that. I think Im going to show "Labryinth" again . It was a great movie and David Bowie rox I must share it with the world.... or at least Atlanta.

Come by and chill at The Mojo with us as we watch Jim Henson's "Labyrinth"
Labyrinth is a 1986 fantasy film directed by Jim Henson, produced by George Lucas, and designed through the art of Brian Froud. Henson collaborated on the screenwriting with children's author Dennis Lee and Monty Python alumnus Terry Jones. The human leads are David Bowie as Jareth the Goblin King, and a teenage Jennifer Connelly as Sarah Williams. The plot revolves around Sarah's quest to rescue her little brother from the Goblin King while trapped in a world that is an enormous fantasy maze. Most of the other significant roles are played by puppets or by a combination of puppetry and human performance. It was shot on location in New York and at Elstree Studios in the UK. It was the last feature film directed by Henson before his death in 1990.


We'll be roasting marshmallows (no pyros please!)

We're Sooooooo Confused by what our hours should be !

Some of the reasons being .. People just wont come in for hours on end and then they hit us up at like 9:30p excited to be there ! lol

I think if they thought of us as more of a evening spot (when social coffee drinking should take place )that would be perfect! Then the two workers/owners could sleep a bit !

But I also notice due to our exterior renovations and lack of sign, people don't even know we're open :-(

WELL WE ARE !!! GET IN HERE ! lol

Just understand we're not lazy nor disorganized. Just confused . We're feeling the neoighborhood out and change up accordingly . We're listening .. and we hear you . :-)

Remember our pretty Torani Umbrellas ? The solid wood and burgundy traditional italian ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS a pop Umbrellas ?

One gust of wind Saturday evening and one umbrella (Her name's Christy) SAILS across the patio (from the furthest point !) all the way across the parking lot towards the last suite !


I jump over the coffee counter and running across the parking lot to catch it only to find it .. find it .. *sobs* IN PIECES !!!!! *sobs

We only had it for a week ! What was once a trio is now a duo (Janet and Jack remain ) We will miss you Christy . :-(

We are the Champions ! I want to thank EVERYONE for their support and for those who tried to get in our way .. I thank you too ! It made us even more determined to make it happen!

We survived fraudelent general contracting , ATL bureaucracy , and did I say fraudulent general contracting?
This man had us on the ropes for quite some time but we got it done and got him outta here !

I also wanted to thank all the neighbors for visiting us with big smiles and introducing themselves ! Makes us feel even more confident that we chose the right neighborhood both live and conduct business in !

You guys are great and I can't wait to get to know u all better !
