The post below was a rant. Boy ! It felt good to get that off my chest ! Now you see even more that we are not a franchise, not a huge corporation , not a chain. We're just two people trying to make our dreams come true.
Onto the news ! Our Open Mic was a small success ! Small because it was a small turnout. But the people that performed were REALLY good . The coolest part was when two 12 yr old girls got so comfortable with the atmosphere that they hopped on stage and did accapellas ! They were really good ! I hope Breukelen Mojo helped them overcome whatever stage fright they might've had ! We did have one guy that FLAKED out when he saw the small audience as well. I guess we werent good enough for whatever his name is? I guess he doesnt understand that you have to start somewhere ...to get somewhere and all your audiences aren't going to be huge, even if you're popular ! That's the nature of the business. But I'll B. Nice, because I've digressed . ;-)
Thanks again to those who came out ! And to the wimps that sat in the parking lot and saw it wasn't full enough for them and left ... Sup Wit Dat!?
